User Permissions

This section provides users with the ability to organize groups, roles, and individual users and assign operational permissions within One Stop. Here's a breakdown of the functionalities:

  1. Groups:

    • Groups serve as a convenient way to assign cases to a specific set of users, such as an AML analyst team, rather than individual users.
    • When a case is assigned to a group, all users within that group will have access to the case.
    • Once a case is assigned to a group, any user within that group can "check in" the case and take ownership of it.
    • The assignment option for cases can be configured through the Cases Policy, allowing for customization based on specific requirements.
  2. Roles:

    • Roles define sets of permissions and access levels within the organization.
    • By assigning roles to users, administrators can streamline access management and ensure that users have appropriate permissions based on their responsibilities.
    • One Stop offers pre-defined role templates that align with common use cases and target personas, such as admin, analyst, and supervisor.
    • These pre-defined roles come with predefined levels of access, simplifying the user permission configuration process.
  3. User Management:

    • With user management functionality, administrators can create and manage user accounts within One Stop.
    • This includes creating new user accounts, modifying existing accounts, and controlling user access levels.
    • By assigning roles and permissions to individual users, administrators can fine-tune the level of access and actions each user can perform.

By utilizing the group, role, and user management features within One Stop, organizations can efficiently assign cases, manage access permissions, and optimize their operational workflows.
